Artist, sculpture, musician… William Close combined all three of these talents to create an instrument completely tied and in tune with its surroundings…the Earth Harp. Paper with purpose…growing up with autism, Grant Maniér tore paper to calm his anxiety, now he creates remarkable works of art one scrap at a time. From filmmaker Tommy Shimanek; a look at Abel Alejandre who learned early the importance of allowing himself creative freedom and personal perspective. He shares his thoughts with young artists attending Fullerton College. Jon Lomberg space artist, science journalist and Carl Sagan’s principal artistic collaborator for more than twenty years on many projects… the man responsible for the art on the Golden Record traveling on Voyager, reflects on then and now.
