“Exquisite Heart” is a new collaborative project with prints by Abel Alejandre, Karen Finley and Tim Youd to benefit Bryan Chagolla’s fight against cancer. Reception September 14, 6-9pm – this is part of four Chinatown galleries presenting art shows that evening to raise money for Bryan’s medical bills.

Exquisite Heart will feature new prints and original art by Abel Alejandre, Karen Finley and Tim Youd as well as collaborative silkscreen prints combining elements of recent artwork together.

The fight against cancer is real, the fight for healthcare is real and only together in collaboration will we find solutions.

The three artists are each friends and colleagues of Bryan Chagolla, Coagula’s gallery director, who is presently receiving treatment for stage four stomach cancer. Proceeds from this exhibit will go to him to support his family in this time of great need.
