An oral history interview conducted by Alan Hiroshi Nakagawa at Los Angeles Metro offices. The interview was conducted for my participation as one of the artists who were awarded a Metro train-station. Brooklyn born Artist Myron Kaufman shares his time with Atelier Visit to discuss his work and thoughts on art. The interview/dialogue was filmed in his Pasadena studio in 2010. Mr. Kaufman’s work has been shown at Project 210 and Offramp Galleries in Pasadena.
Based out of Los Angeles, California, we are pleased to present Graham Goddard. We caught up with him at Left Coast Galleries in Studio City, California. Graham is a Trinidadian-American conceptual artist who paints, sculpts and does site specific installations.
Los Angeles Artist Lisa Adams shares her time with Atelier Visit to discuss her work and thoughts on art. The interview/dialogue was filmed in her Los Angeles studio in May 2010.
Santa Barbara Visual Artist, Mary Heebner, shares some of her time with Atelier Visit. Her interview was filmed in Los Angeles at Edward Cella Art+Architecture where she was opening her solo show. Exhibit is running through April 17, 2010 at Edward Cella Art+Architecture located at 6018 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90036.
Los Angeles Installation Artist, Jane Castillo, shares some of her time with Atelier Visit. Her interview was filmed in her home Studio in February 2010.
Jane recently exhibited at MACLA Gallery (Movimiento de Arte y Cultura Latino Americano) in San Jose, California. The show was titled “Conceptual Landscapes: recent work by Castillo and Mariana Garibay”. She also has recently completed a collaborative outdoor installation called “Bloodlines” which utilizes red ribbons woven between the trees across the street from MACLA.
Los Angeles Artist Leigh Salgado known for her sculpted drawings shares some of her time with Atelier Visit. Her interview was filmed in her Los Angeles Studio at the famous Brewery Artist Colony.
German born American Artist Dominique Moody shares her thoughts and story with Atelier Visit. We caught-up with Dominique in her Los Angeles studio which was orderly packed with resource materials.

Daniel Marquez is a Visual Artist with an amazing energy to create, collaborate and nurture the younger artist. Currently he is in an art and residency program (Arts in Corrections) where he is teaching with all mediums. He was in Los Angeles visiting when we caught-up with Daniel.

Ismael and Heriberto Castro are two phenomenal visual artists based in Mexicali, Baja California. Recently they have collaborated with one another on several projects. Having worked on several public works they have become more ambitious with each new project. For this interview we drove to CEART (formerly Casa de Juventud) where one such project is in the form of a mosiac.
